As warm breezes carry the scent of spring and nature comes back to life, the city is awash with flowers and lush greenery, ushering in a golden season for citizens and visitors to enjoy outings and leisure. To further enhance the city's appearance and order, Nantong Tianhong has launched a comprehensive spring environmental improvement campaign.
The campaign is problem?oriented, targeted and aimed at city?wide improvement. It centres on popular blossom?viewing and outing spots, main roads, parks and squares, scenic area surroundings, riverside landscape belts, backstreets, alleys, and countrysides. Given the season's strong winds, frequent rain, abundance of fallen leaves and petals, and large volumes of household waste, Nantong Tianhong has fine?tuned its work modes: sweeping frequency and cleaning patrols have been increased at all stations, with waste picked up as soon as it appears; mechanized sweeping vehicles have been deployed for man–machine coordinated operations, intensifying the removal of roadside dust, dead branches and leaves, and discarded plastics.
While strengthening day?to?day cleaning, Nantong Tianhong continues to deepen meticulous sanitation management and raise cityscape quality in all dimensions. Road washing and water?spraying for dust suppression have been stepped up to effectively curb dust pollution and improve road cleanliness. Standardized management of public toilets has been comprehensively enhanced, with daily cleaning, ventilation, disinfection and facility maintenance ensuring that toilets are clean, odour?free and convenient to use. Household waste collection and transport routes have been optimized to shorten waste retention time, with sealed transport and daily clearance eliminating leaks, spills and secondary pollution.
During the campaign, Nantong Tianhong employees have stuck to their posts on the front line, quietly dedicating themselves – setting out at dawn and holding on into the night. They pace every street with their footsteps, care for every landscape with meticulous attention, and fulfil the mission with responsibility and commitment.
Environmental improvement knows no end, and meticulous care never pauses. Going forward, Nantong Tianhong will take this spring campaign as an opportunity to consolidate and build on the results, put in place a sound long?term management mechanism, steadily refine work standards and enhance service efficiency, and carry meticulous management through the whole process of sanitation work.
